Letter from the Editor: September 2023

Dear Readers,

Welcome Trinity, our brand-new columnist from Uganda! Trinity, 16, has been homeschooling for almost four years. She is passionate about God, family, music, and writing. This summer, she wrote two movie scripts and also started on a novel! Trinity hopes to pursue a career in writing and use her writing to serve God and help other people. She loves to share homeschooling tips and write about self-improvement as a teenager. Be sure to check out her column, “Thriving with Trinity.”

So… who’s ready for a whole new year of homeschooling?

(Mixed audience reactions follow…)

Whether you’re excited to start homeschooling or could use an extra four weeks of summer vacation before getting back into the swing of things, we want to wish all of you a successful school year. If you want to know how, read the article on “5 Habits of Effective Homeschool Students.”

If you need to get your homeschool room organized, check out My Favorite Homeschool Organizers (written by me) that tells about some items we purchased for our own home and how much I like them.

Happy Homeschooling!

P.S. Don’t forget to observe Patriot Day, a National Day of Service in memory of 9/11, and also Constitution Week, September 17-23. We’ve posted some recommended Constitution resources here.
