The Mind of Politics

Have you ever wondered what’s going on with our president’s mind?

What it takes to be the leader or how someone runs the country?

I do, and I know what you’re thinking: “When did you become the President of the United States?” Well I didn’t necessarily become president but I recently played a game called BattleDawn.

Now what in the world is BattleDawn?

This game is a diplomatic war-based strategy genre in which you choose which three areas you want to start off with: Mars, Earth or Fantasy. You start having your own colony and join an alliance or group of people to fight your way to the top spot winners. Now how is this related to any of the real world events that our leaders are facing today!? In the game you could be a member to a leader or become the leader, and being leader isn’t easy!

I became a leader of one group of alliance and I have to do as much work as the president does! I have to talk to other leaders for peace, defend off intruders, make diplomatic arguments of whether we go to war or not with another alliance. If we do go to war I have to watch my team’s resources and have to plan strategic moves for the next battle because if I make one bad decision, we lose big time and it’s game over for us.

This game has taught me something, to appreciate the stress that our president has gone through during the past years. I have gone through his shoes every time when I have to make a big decision. It’s amazing how stressful his job is! And is not just being a president, every boss from a company had to go through the same routine as everyone does, making right decisions and not get fired!

If we ever complain about why it’s so difficult being a leader, just remember that being leader isn’t always what you think. It takes time and patience to make the smart decision, because sooner or later we’ll be asking God why his job is so hard.

About Nick…

I am a studious person who loves reading and loves researching about virtually anything! I play the piano and every year I have to give a performance in a church. I love video games – especially when it’s a puzzle and action game. I would like to become a programmer one day in the field of computer science.

I love my family so much, even if we drive each other crazy sometimes, we’re still one big happy family. I have an autistic brother whom I love, but sometimes it’s hard to show my brother some love since he can play rough even when he’s happy. I try to be a good brother and hopefully we’ll get along better as the years go by when I will understand him better.

I sometimes write short stories and talk about how I “feel” in some situation when I need to talk to someone. As no one is perfect I can be lazy, especially when I watch my favorite shows for long periods of hours. I spend time on the computer a lot too, either watching on YouTube or playing games on Steam.

I hope you all enjoy my mini-biography because I like sharing stuff with you folks. Just enjoy reading my articles every month and hope you get all the clues you need to enjoy life.

After all, all life is precious!
