They call this a nurse’s pen set. But to me the Daemson multicolor pen set is a great back-to-school accessory for kids, teens, and homeschool families! Everyone in the family can have a different color! Or hang one of these colorful sets in every room. Then you’ll always be able to find a pen when you need it! Each piece has its own ring for attaching to a keychain (included) and hanging on a hook or lanyard (not provided).
This pen set actually contains more than just pens! It consists of 6 painted metal keychains, 6 LED flashlights, 6 highlighters, 6 multicolor ballpoint pens, and 6 permanent markers. (You’ll probably want to keep the permanent markers away from little kids!) They come individually wrapped for you to assemble the color-coded sets yourself. This set is a fantastic deal for everything you get!
The clasps on the keychains are a bit stiff and hard to open, but at least you know they won’t pop apart accidentally. The tiny keychain flashlights are easy to use because all you have to do is slide a switch to turn it on, you don’t have to keep holding a button down.
I love the ballpoint pens, I didn’t realize they were going to be multicolor pens! Each pen has 4 colors in one: black, blue, red, green. I love to write in green! The highlighters are: pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. The permanent markers are: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. Almost all the colors of the rainbow!
Another way to use this colorful set would be to give each person their own ballpoint pen and flashlight, but keep all of the highlighters and markers in a pencil case in your craft area or homeschool room for everyone to share. They would also be good to use as prizes, stocking stuffers and party favors!

These colorful writing implements might look cheap, but they write surprisingly well. The ink quality is as good as any you’d buy at the store. These are handy for general home use, coloring, doodling, note-taking, and other artistic and academic endeavors. By getting these colored pens, students can harness the full potential of color-coding as a powerful study tool.
This visual appeal of colorful writing instruments helps prevent monotony and boredom, making the learning process more dynamic and enjoyable. In fact, studies have shown that color can improve memory recall and comprehension. Visual learners, in particular, benefit greatly from color coding as it aligns with their natural inclination towards visual stimuli, resulting in a personalized and effective study approach. For example, they might use a different color pen for each subject.

As shown above, using different colors in your science notebook can be a great way to organize and enhance your learning experience! For example, you could use blue for lecture notes and green for experiment ideas. Using color-coded diagrams and notes can help you better remember complex concepts. Here are some benefits and tips for color-coding your notes:
- Choose Consistent Colors: Stick to a consistent color scheme for different types of information. For example, use red for important definitions, blue for formulas, and green for examples.
- Use Highlighters and Pens: Utilize a variety of colored pens and highlighters to differentiate between sections and highlight key points.
- Create a Legend: At the beginning of your notebook, create a legend that explains what each color represents. This will help you stay organized and make it easier to review your notes later.
