Happy August! I hope you’re having fun this summer in spite of everything that’s been going on. This has been such a crazy year – too bad we can’t reset real life like we do with our computer when it has a virus!
Well, you can’t change history, but you can rejuvenate yourself. Here’s what to do if you’re feeling a little uptight or anxious – grab a kayak, a fishing pole, or whatever works for you. Relax, enjoy life, and stop watching the news. It’s gotten to the point where you have to take everything they say with a grain of salt, anyway, now that even science and medicine have been compromised by political agendas.
It’s really up to each individual to look at all the information that’s presented and form our own personal approach to staying healthy. But when it comes to wearing a face mask or not, try balancing it with not ticking off half the folks you come in contact with, okay? Look at it this way… even though a smoker has a right to smoke, he should be polite and not smoke around others who might be bothered by it, right?
Likewise, even though it’s your right to not wear a mask, if it makes others around you feel better, what’s the harm in putting one on in the store temporarily? By the same token, if you’re wearing a mask and others are not, who’s protected? The person wearing the mask…right? So why get upset about the ones that don’t? The chance of catching anything from a passing interaction in public is probably minimal, but as they say it’s better to be safe than sorry. Still, let’s all take it easy on each other!
