Planning for college can be fun and exciting. Now that your high school journey is coming to an end, the world is yours to explore. But college visits and planned college interactions are a little different than what most homeschool students expect. That’s why the Homeschooling Parent Association is setting up a virtual event just for YOU!
The “Get Connected!” Homeschool-Friendly College Fair is a one-day event that will bring together colleges and universities along with other higher education opportunities just for homeschoolers! These homeschool-friendly colleges, universities, vocational training, and others are offering a day of information, presentations, and more!
Over 60 colleges and counting are ready to greet you! Open to all homeschool families seeking higher education opportunities. Come and meet new friends and interesting people. We know you have questions, and we have answers. The Homeschool-Friendly College Fair will be fun, informative, interactive, and rewarding.
Visit virtual booths filled with information to download. Attend virtual presentations that will help you set sail. Listen to motivational speakers with information that will bring value to your future. Learn about vocational training and other higher education opportunities. Win prizes and earn scholarship dollars while engaging in social media events and playing some fun games!
Admissions representatives will be on hand to answer your questions on Scholarships, Financial Aid, Dual Credit, Starting Early, Advanced Placement, Housing, Application Process, and more! Meet virtually with college representatives who understand the needs of homeschoolers. Set up a one-on-one chat or schedule an interview.
Essay Contest
“We Rise By Lifting Others” – Attending students may submit a short story or essay (800-1000 words) on lifting others up during this pandemic. What did you do to impact your community, your family or others during this unprecedented time in history? Three winning stories. $500 scholarship each. Deadline 12/11/20.
