The Internet is a Tool

The internet can be very resourceful. It just depends on how you use it. The internet can be the most useful tool, available right at your fingertips. Here’s how I can prove my point; the internet is full of exceedingly useful things whether you want to learn something new or need study help or anything else, the worldwide web has got your back. It provides us with the most useful data, knowledge, and information. The internet can educate us regarding anything ever possible to learn about. The internet has helped us with personal, social, and economic development. If it wasn’t for the internet we would not have all the curriculum we could ever want for us to educate ourselves. The internet has innovated our daily lives immensely.

If we use this tool positively and responsible it can make our lives much simpler. The internet is practically the most effective way to communicate with others either on a personal or professional level. As we have seen the internet has made politics and business much easier. In this generation, there are so many jobs and opportunities available to you online. Not only can you use the internet to make money but you can also use it to manage money. With this tool, you can share your experiences and memories and talents with the world. The internet is so relevant and necessary to this day and age, that sometimes its importance isn’t even realized. We can use the internet to educate not only ourselves but for others too, we can share our knowledge to help others pursue what they want to become in life. That is the importance of the internet.

It’s mind-blowing to think that everything that has to do with the internet was completely unpredicted of just twenty years ago. If it wasn’t for the internet we wouldn’t be who we are today as a society. We wouldn’t be exposed to as much as we are today, we wouldn’t appreciate and be passionate about the things we are if we weren’t introduced to them by others. I don’t think I can stress the importance of the internet enough. It’s an advantage and it’s a privilege to us and we should get the most out of it that we can; it’s so important that we make ourselves the smartest versions that we can be. We as young people in this generation are being introduced to the new world, we are seeing how the future will be, we need to appreciate what we have and take full advantage of it. Together, we can be the smartest versions of ourselves, so let’s take advantage of this resourceful trove and dig deep into the knowledge of the world wide web and conquer the future.

BIO: My name is Alexandria and I am a homeschooled teen from Oklahoma (Tornado Alley). I have been homeschooled for the past seven years. I spend my days playing basketball, reading, writing and studying psychology, as well as, true crime. I am the oldest of four kids and I have three preposterous but loveable younger brothers. I plan to graduate college and pursue a career in a field that involves both computer science and criminal justice. One of my favorite quotes: “One of the deep secrets in life is that all that is really worth doing is what we do for others.” – Lewis Carroll
