Split: Movie Review

By Zach

This is my review of Split (2017, PG-13).

GENRE: psychological horror/thriller (written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan).

PLOT: A man with 24 very different personalities kidnaps 3 teenage girls. They must figure out which personalities will help them escape, and which ones will stop them.

PROS: James McAvoy did an amazing job as Kevin (the personalities), Hedwig the 9 year old personality is really funny, I loved the tension in all the scenes, Bruce Willis’s cameo was awesome! Anya Taylor also did a very good job as Casey, and I did like how this movie was funny at times, and it was very scary!

CONS: The last 30 minutes of the movie are a bit unrealistic, and some of the supporting actors are kinda meh. But overall this is a great movie! I would give Split a 7.3/10, and recommend buying it on Blu-ray or DVD.

Thank you for reading my review!
