By Hannah Barber
I take a picture
And then a few more
Trying to find the perfect memory.
Not the right smile, the lighting-
It’s off,
Wait she isn’t properly looking.
Each picture a new request, a new flaw
Please hold still
Frustration comes in place of laughter
I need a perfect picture.
But then something makes me stop,
And I start to think
Life isn’t meant to be posed
So why should I pose my
Memories?
