Nintendo Switch

By Super Searcher

Nintendo has had mixed results from their consoles over the years, ranging all the way from the NES to the Wii U. Nintendo has always strived to make something different from the other gaming companies.

Now, a little over a year after its release, I’d like to talk about Nintendo’s latest gaming console, the Nintendo Switch.

The Switch takes the best of the Wii, the Wii U, and a portable tablet to make one fascinating console. It’s lightweight, easy to set up and take down, and now has a wide range of games both original and popular to purchase and play with your friends.

The fact that you can play using the slide-on, slide-off wireless remotes is one of my favorite things about this device. Because if you’re in the middle of a game and need to move someplace else, all you have to do is attach the remotes to the tablet part of the console and take it out of its docking station, and you now have your game in your hands!

The accessories that you can get for this device are a lot of fun. You can buy extra controllers for your friends, including “pro remotes,” which are just like your typical gaming controller. You can also buy carrying cases, battery packs, and mini docking stations.

With the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit or Robot Kit, you’ll be able to combine the technology of the Switch with the fun of DIY creations. You can customize the kits and also create your very own projects. Bring each creation to life using the console and controllers.

The game selection on the Switch includes all of the classic Nintendo franchises, from Super Mario to The Legend of Zelda. The Switch also has a wide range of non-Nintendo games such as Minecraft, Dark Souls Remastered, and Skyrim. The list continues with indie games Stardew Valley and The Binding of Isaac, as well as some exclusive deals like the upcoming role-playing game Octopath Traveler. Firewatch, an excellent first-person adventure/exploration game, will also be coming soon to the Switch.

There are general sales on Nintendo Switch games every so often; nothing too major, unfortunately. But I’m confident that as the gaming platform becomes more popular, game sales will increase.

The bottom line is, if you are looking for a fun and versatile gaming console to play with friends, and you can afford $300, look into buying a Switch. The Nintendo Switch comes in Neon Blue/Red, or Classic Gray. Click on the links or images to buy from Amazon.
