Letter from the Editor: May 2020

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the May 2020 issue of Homeschooling Teen magazine! I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

The coronavirus crisis has touched all of us in one way or another. Even if it hasn’t sickened anyone you know, it has caused shortages, cancelled events, killed jobs, and closed many places. It has also slowed us down a bit, bringing families closer and refocusing priorities. Of course, we have yet to fully experience its long-term effects on the culture and public policy when it comes to the economy and social distancing.

Perhaps the “Stay Safe, Stay Home” guidelines have cramped your style, or maybe life is pretty much the same as before since you were already homeschooling before the lockdown. Either way, we hope you’re enjoying the additional time at home with your immediate family, and turning it into something positive. For instance, we’ve been able to get a lot of projects done around the house. Leave a comment below and let us know what you’ve been up to!

Happy Homeschooling!

P. S. Don’t forget to do something nice for your mom on Mother’s Day!
