Dear Readers,
Happy New Year!!! Welcome to the January issue of Homeschooling Teen!
No matter what homeschooling in 2023 was like for your family – whether it was full of wonderful moments or hard times of struggle – the new year offers a chance for fresh beginnings.
Of course, homeschooling in 2024 may bring new and unexpected challenges. But with the right preparation and support, it can also be a time of exploration, discovery, and growth. Try to learn from your mistakes, repeat your successes, and start off 2024 with the Lord guiding your way.
Funny story…
Our family was all set to start a new healthy meal prep plan earlier this month. We went to the grocery store and loaded up on lots of fresh produce and other foods to make a variety of home-cooked meals from scratch for dinners, lunches, and snacks.
Then guess what happened…
Stomach flu struck us down one by one! A whole bunch of fresh fruits and vegetables ended up in the trash because none of us could eat anything for a week. I still haven’t gotten my appetite back and can only eat tiny amounts before I already feel full.
But you know what?
I realized that it’s actually a blessing in disguise because it’s such an easy instant weight loss program, ha.
So, here’s to a great new year. Whatever happens, may you and your family make the most of it!
Happy Homeschooling!
