Dear Readers,
Happy December!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of gratitude, family and friends. Soon it will be Christmas before we know it! Then comes the close of 2019, which means the end of the ’10s. It’s hard to believe the people born in 2000 are almost 20 years old now!
While you are busy preparing for the holidays, don’t forget to take a break and check out the December 2019 issue of Homeschooling Teen magazine. It contains holiday articles, gift ideas, several great reviews (The Chosen, Jesus is King, The Ash Lad, When Santa Fell to Earth), homeschooling tips, college and career advice, and more.
Just so you know, after much deliberation, we will not be publishing a January issue. With friends coming to stay with our family for a few weeks, we want to spend all the time we can with them. Plus I have a repetitive motion injury that’s exacerbated by typing, so I’m hoping that laying off the keyboard for a month will help. I’m sure our hardworking contributing writers will appreciate some time off, too.
This will be the first time in seven years that we skip an issue, so I’ll miss you guys but don’t worry, we’ll be back in February!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
