Letter from the Editor: August 2023

Dear Readers,

Happy August! How has your summer been? I have a special message for Madison…

Hi Madison, I hope you are reading this! Thank you so much for your e-mail! I want you to know I’m not ignoring you! I tried to reply several times but the emails won’t go through because “the address couldn’t be found, or is unable to receive mail.” Please try contacting me again from a different email address. Sorry, I don’t know how else to get in touch with you! ~Teri

The same goes for everyone. Reader submissions are always welcome! Have any summer adventures to report, poems you wrote, or anything else you want to tell us about? Send them to mail@homeschoolingteen.com

For some people, summer vacation is already over. I can’t believe our local public school started on July 31st this year! That’s way too early! Especially when it’s 110 degrees outside! I used to think starting in August was bad enough. It’s still the height of summer to me. I’d personally rather start in September, after Labor Day, and it just so happens that’s what we do in our homeschool. Maybe we’re just always late getting started, LOL. But it’s closer to the first day of fall and seems more like back-to-school time anyway.

When do you start the new school year? Leave a comment!

Happy Homeschooling!
