Juliette Turner is the teen author of the best-selling Our Constitution Rocks (2012), Our Presidents Rock (2014), and That’s Not Hay in My Hair (2016). The homeschooled daughter of actress and conservative talk radio host Janine Turner, Juliette is a self-proclaimed history nerd. She aimed to help her peers understand the importance of the US Constitution and gain a deeper understanding of the document, saying: “It is of utmost importance for kids, the future generation of America, to understand the relevancy of our Constitution, the law of the land. It is America’s road map and guide and without reverence and a working knowledge of it, we will lose our country.”
Juliette’s mom, Janine Turner, best known for her starring role in the ’90s TV cult classic Northern Exposure, never married and lives a private life on a ranch in Texas. She is the Founder and Co-President of Constituting America, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to teaching America’s upcoming generation about the Constitution. From 2017-2018, Juliette served as the National Youth Director of Constituting America. Mother and daughter worked together, inspiring students and adults across the country to learn about the Constitution and, in turn, empowering them to effect change through the legislative process. In addition to speaking about the Constitution, Juliette also spoke on topics such as how to resist drugs and alcohol in a substance abuse culture, and how to maintain faith in a secular society. As an adult, Juliette legally hyphenated her surname to include the name of her father, Jerry Jones Jr., whose identity had not been previously disclosed.
In 2019, Juliette Turner-Jones served as a summer intern in the office of Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), as well as in the office of Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX). Juliette graduated with a 4-year bachelor’s degree from Rice University in 2020, where she studied English, Philosophy, and Business. From August 2020 to July 2021, she worked full-time as a Junior Litigation Paralegal at Kirkland & Ellis headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. In 2021, she entered Harvard Law School, where she joined the Harvard Federalist Society, a student organization that promotes conservative and libertarian ideas. In 2022, she worked as a Trial Lawyers firm.

Just two months ago she had posted on LinkedIn: “I am so honored for the opportunity to publish in The Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy! In “Original Understanding of ‘Background Principles’ in Cedar Point Nursery v. Hassid,” my co-author, Mary Catherine Jenkins, and I argue that Cedar Point provides originalist scholars an opportunity to reexamine the scope and contours of the background principles behind the Takings Clause of the Fifth Amendment. Drawing from British common law, Founding-era writings, and early state court cases, our Note discusses several examples of background principles and their application to existing legal regimes.” You can read her paper here.
Even more exciting, Juliette is getting married this month! She and Marcos Mullin, both Texans, met at Harvard Law School where they were members of the Harvard Federalist Society. What are the chances of two Christian conservatives from Texas meeting at Harvard University in Boston! They even started at the same time and were in orientation together. So Marcos also graduated from Harvard Law School this year. He currently works as a at the
