Letter from the Editor: August/September 2026

Dear Readers,

Happy August!

August is a month of abundance, offering a wide variety of fresh and flavorful summer fruits and vegetables. It’s officially the “Dog Days of Summer,” which refers to the hottest days of the season, often associated with high humidity and feeling lazy. The days are filled with golden sunshine, perhaps broken by summer thunderstorms.

In September, there’s a subtle shift in the air—a reminder that change is just around the corner. This month brings the excitement of a new school year—a time of fresh beginnings, crisp unopened books, and the promise of enlightening courses.

As we turn the page toward the upcoming fall season, I hope you will find time to soak in the warmth, relax a little longer, and carry the light of summer with you into whatever comes next.

Happy Homeschooling!
