By Hannah Barber
Here we say goodbye
To the winter blues-
Welcoming in instead
Springs colors and hues.
Every great artist
Has once used-
The colors and brilliance
Of spring as her muse.
Poets and writers
Look to spring’s clues-
Her splendor
They are afraid to lose.
Each musician
Tries to give spring her dues-
Bright symphonies of birds
Are the sounds they choose.
As we say goodbye to
Pale winter blues-
We welcome in Spring
And all her radiant hues.
