When you are trying to decide on something, you begin a critical thinking process. During this process, you evaluate information on a given problem based on logic, truth, and context. The process of analyzing factual information, reaching logical conclusions, and taking appropriate actions based on your conclusions is called decision-making.
Critical thinking should always be an integral part of your decision-making process. From gathering the necessary information, up until the formulation of possible solutions for solving problems, you should always use critical thinking so you can make sound decisions without letting your personal beliefs, or those of others, cloud your judgment.
