To that end, Fogsoft is proud to offer the Custom Software Development Services and Procurement Management Software Solutions Scholarships for $500-$2,500.
These scholarships, awarded one time per year, will be open to both high school and university students who are:
- Actively seeking ways to supplement the ever-increasing costs of education.
- Actively pursuing their interest in custom software development services or procurement management software solutions.
Fogsoft CEO Mike Garfield e-mailed us to say, “I want to tell you why I’ve created this scholarship opportunity. In the simplest terms, I recognize the importance of higher education. Without institutions of higher learning, my industry would suffer mightily. I also know how expensive higher education is, and that many of your students struggle underneath the burden of debt to pay their tuition. While this scholarship won’t be enough to pay for a semester worth of schooling, my hope is that it alleviates some of the burden.”

These scholarships, awarded 1 time per year, will be open to students who are:
- Actively seeking ways to supplement the ever-increasing costs of education.
- Actively pursuing their interest in custom software development services or procurement management software solutions.
Application Instructions:
- Please research and write an essay of at least 3,000 words (but no more than 8,000) on one of the following topics. Please include screenshots or licensed-photos to better illustrate or convey your points.
- Please write and submit your essay in Microsoft Word or PDF. Entries submitted in any other format will not be accepted.
Choose a topic below for your essay:
- The Future of eProcurement
- The Automation Age, and how businesses can prepare for it
- How to manage competency assessment with technology
- What is Agile software development from customer’s perspective?
- What Is A Professional Programmer?
Evaluation, Winner Announcements, and Payout Dates:
- All submissions will be carefully be reviewed by a team of current Fogsoft employees, and will be judged for relevance and adherence to the submission requirements.
- All submissions must be submitted by August 20, 2018.
- Winners will be announced 2 weeks after the submission deadline, and the winning entries will be published on the Fogsoft blog.
- Winners will receive their scholarship by PayPal, exactly 2 weeks after the winner annoucement.
