DIY Mini Motor by Manny Mechanix
In this video, Manny explains how to make your own miniature motor from an AA battery, two safety pins, 3 rare earth magnets, and copper wire. He also explains how electromagnets work, tells how magnets are an important part of many products, and describes the necessity of magnetism to life on earth. Manny put a lot of work into the experiment as he had to first figure out how to harvest the copper wire from an old fan.
