Autumn Leaves

By Hannah Barber

Autumn leaves fall,

Softly, slowly, downward.

Twilight calls,

Quietly, loudly, louder.

Wind blows,

Coolly, coldly, onward.

Smells tickle my nose,

Sweetly, warmly, familiar.

Leaves crinkle underfoot,

Crackly, crunchy, explored.

Autumn is afoot,

Wonderful.
