“Millions of people have seen UFOs and many even recall personal encounters with strange entities. The popular view is that these are advanced aliens visiting us from far, far away. This compelling new movie takes a deeper and honest look at the events, the beliefs, the experts, and the people that have shaped our views in all things otherworldly. The truth is more surprising than most people realize.” —John Schneider, Narrator

Alien Intrusion is a new film from Creation Ministries International. It’s based on Gary Bates’ best-selling book by the same name. Alien Intrusion releases in theaters for ONE NIGHT on January 11, 2018. Having always been intrigued by unexplained mysteries from ghosts and Bigfoot to the Bermuda Triangle and UFOs, this 2-hour documentary was right up my alley and I was lucky enough to be invited to view a pre-screening.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Alien Intrusion is a really interesting and well-done film! It’s just like watching a History Channel documentary the way it attracts and keeps the audience’s attention with its expert interviews, eyewitness accounts, photos and video footage, computer-generated imagery, cinematic recreations of actual events, and narration by John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard).

Extraterrestrial beings, also called aliens or space aliens, are a common theme in popular culture. We love to watch science fiction movies about alien invasions, read personal tales of alleged abductions, and ponder government conspiracy theories. UFO beliefs are rapidly escalating in society and even the church, challenging the foundations of many faiths, and sometimes even becoming the basis of New-Age religions.

The problem is, what exactly DO people want to believe, or in WHO do they want to believe? I’ve always found it curious that so many persons are quick to believe in aliens, but not God. Even NASA scientists founded SETI in an effort to make contact with civilizations from other worlds. But are there really alien civilizations in our vast universe? What is behind the numerous sightings from around the world? Does the U.S. Government have evidence of alien craft? Can we hope to make contact in our lifetime?

Alien Intrusion provides a thorough treatment of this fascinating subject, starting with a clip from War of the Worlds and an overview of the history of science fiction. (Star Trek and Star Wars fans, there are film clips for you too!) This documentary methodically builds a case as to how interstellar space travel and intergalactic communication in reality would be totally impractical if not impossible. After all, despite all the money spent on SETI over the last 30 years, we have yet to hear that indisputable “blip” that would establish, without a shadow of a doubt, that there is life “out there.”

The movie points out that a century ago, aliens used to be from Venus and Mars until we were able to more closely observe those planets, and then they began coming from other galaxies. It’s like the aliens have a way of keeping just out of reach, always safely ahead of our current technological level. Of course, the whole premise of aliens is based on the problematic theory of evolution and the slim possibility of intelligent life originating on other planets purely by chance in the first place. Nevertheless, people are enamored with the idea of aliens.

Alien Intrusion takes us to Roswell, New Mexico, a popular tourist destination and home of the International UFO Museum. Millions of people around the world and from all walks of life have seen a UFO; however, most UFO sightings turn out to be hoaxes or have natural explanations. And yet, even though 90 percent of UFOs can be explained, there are still 10 percent that remain an unsolved mystery. Moreover, there are many people who recall personal encounters with alien entities.

In the movie we get to see interviews with “survivors” of alien abductions in which they relate their experiences, some of which were pretty creepy. At least one person had multiple contacts dating back to childhood. Toward the end of the film we learn that the CE4 Research Group, founded by UFO investigators Joe Jordan and Wes Clark, discovered by means of practical data and not a pre-existing belief in Christianity, a common thread among these “victims” that was too compelling to be ignored.

While the popular view is that so-called “extraterrestrials” travel from distant planets, and some believe that aliens come from another dimension, the Alien Intrusion movie offers a different theory – that these beings are really spiritual in nature, rather than physical. Indeed, the parallels between demon-possession and abduction-victims are uncanny. This suddenly makes aliens a whole lot scarier!

Alien Intrusion is a fascinating film that covered a lot of information I hadn’t even heard about before, complete with an unexpected and startling conclusion. It’s a must-watch for any person seeking an objective look at ETs, aliens, and UFOs, whether you come from a Christian background or not. I recommend it for anyone wanting to be fully informed on this subject and open to considering all possibilities. The truth is out there…
