5 Great Apps that Teens will Love to Play

If you are looking for some great fun and addicting games to play this summer, then look no further than these amazing apps.

Bike Baron – Bike Baron is the ultimate motorbike stunt game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch that might be the best we’ve seen yet for iOS. Not only have the game developers made it only $1.99, they also made it a universal app with great value. Instead of trying to make money by selling in-app purchases for new levels, they have created a system where users can create and share their own custom made levels…a really nice touch. Also available at the Mac App Store for $2.99.

Doodle Jump Free – Guide “Doodle the Doodler” on a journey up a sheet of graph paper while avoiding black holes, blasting UFO’s and monsters, and picking up jet packs and propeller hats. As you go up, up, up, you can see in the margin how high other gamers have gotten. The only downsides are that the free version is supported by ads that pop up between each new game, which can get kind of annoying. And be warned: this game is insanely addictive!

Monument ValleyOne of the most beautiful and captivating apps ever released, this game will keep players engaged for hours working out how to help the silent Princess Ida through mysterious and mind-bending architecture, uncovering hidden paths, unfolding Escher-like optical illusions of impossible geometry, and outsmarting the barking Crow People. This fantastic exploration game is both surreal and serene, and will surely go down in game history as one of the unique greats. It’s $3.99 for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire, and well worth it.

Subway SurfersRunning around on train tracks doesn’t sound like a very safe thing to do. But Subway Surfers is great fun when restricted to phone or tablet, and not real life. The aim is to help Jake, Tricky, and Fresh escape from the grumpy inspector and his dog. Dash as fast as you can through the subway and dodge the oncoming trains. There’s also hoverboard surfing (think Back To The Future) and paint-powered jetpacks to speed around on.

Temple RunYou know that part in every adventure film where the hero or heroine gets their hands on the treasure but has to navigate a maze of booby traps to get out alive? That’s this game in a nutshell. Test your reflexes as you race down ancient temple walls and along sheer cliffs. Swipe to turn, jump and slide to avoid obstacles, collect coins and buy power ups, and see how far you can run! Temple Run 2 adds more perilous cliffs, zip lines, mines and forests as you try to escape with the cursed idol.
