Zumper Apartments: College Scholarship & Internships

zumperCamping out for apartments, filling out infinite paper applications, and dealing with scams aren’t things that college students – or anyone – should have to face when trying to find a place to live. Zumper is working to make a world without these things a reality. Zumper co-founder and CEO Anthemos Georgiades set out to build a platform that makes renting an apartment as easy as booking a hotel room.

Zumper’s national home and apartment rental search site is based in San Francisco. They built the first apartment search platform to not only help you easily find the perfect place, but also to apply for an apartment as well. For an idea of the kinds of useful assistance they offer to apartment seekers, see the New York rental guide.

Internships

Zumper is looking for motivated self-starters, currently enrolled full-time in a university, to represent Zumper on campus. As a Zumper Campus Rep you will become a part of the extended marketing team of a hot Silicon Valley startup, and have the opportunity to creatively and independently solve various real-world marketing problems. Consider signing up to be a Zumper Campus Representative for an on-campus internship experience AND the chance to intern at Zumper HQ!

Scholarship

As former college students themselves, the Zumper team knows that school is expensive. So they offer a $1,000 scholarship to help with the cost of college!

They are specifically looking for outstanding college students who have helped their classmates or community in a tremendous way. Maybe you started a club that raised $10,000 for charity, or championed recycling and sustainable practices across campus. Whatever it is, tell them about it for a chance to win $1,000!

Colleges that list this scholarship opportunity on their website include UC BerkeleyArizona State University, the University of Dallas, and University of Northern Iowa.
