Too many young contestants
looking down dark paths.
Too many same contestants
loving tales of wrath.
What adventure awaits them
all along the way?
What sort of gain can find them
to push the loss away?
The old ones must surrender
a slowly dying dream,
while the young ones must re-render
strange thoughts in a stream.
