Headway, a book summary app, proudly offers Headway’s Book Lovers Scholarship, a unique initiative designed to support students in their pursuit of academic and personal excellence. This scholarship is open to U.S. students enrolled in colleges, universities, or vocational-technical schools and is part of Headway’s mission to empower learners through literacy and education.
Headway has recently updated their scholarship page to include insights from last year’s winner, who shared their inspiring experience and how the scholarship helped them achieve their goals.
Eligibility criteria for the scholarship include:
- Citizens of the United States;
- At least 16 years old;
- Final-year high school students, secondary school graduates, or current college/university undergraduates, or graduate students;
- A high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher;
- Demonstrated leadership at school and/or in the community; and
- Full-time enrollment in in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school within the United States for the entire academic year in which the Scholarship is awarded.
Application Deadline: September 15, 2025, 3 pm CST
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Application Requirements:
- General information about the student;
- A current, complete transcript of grades (academic record);
- Essay OR Video: the student’s vision for a non-fiction book that has the potential to become a timeless handbook for humanity;
- A paragraph about leadership;
- A paragraph about goals and motivation;
- A letter of recommendation.
