Have you noticed how the same government encroachment taking place in America is also happening around the globe? Just look at Canada, Australia and New Zealand, for example. All over the world, citizens’ individual liberties and freedom are being lost to authoritarianism. The parallels are too similar and widespread to be a coincidence, so how do you explain it? What exactly is going on and why??? The culprit is globalism!
On March 29, 2022, Regent University’s Robertson School of Government hosted a free virtual event exploring the rise of global government. The conference – Globalism Rising: Authoritarianism and the Demise of Civil Liberties – was live-streamed from noon until 5PM Eastern time.
The Honorable Michele Bachmann, Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University, moderated the event. Bachmann was formerly a Congresswoman from the State of Minnesota and a former candidate for US President. An attorney by training, she is uniquely qualified and equipped both in the areas of public policy and governmental experience.
“People know something dramatic is changing in the world. What we are witnessing is the rise of global government,” she said. “Through this important conference, we will discuss our times, not only geo-politically, but most importantly through the lens of the Bible.” The entire five-hour event can be seen on the Globalism Rising webpage. It’s broken up by speaker so you easily can view it in increments, such as one topic per day.
