The Cover Letter Mastery Scholarship offered by CareerToolbelt.com awards $750 to one deserving student who demonstrates creativity, critical thinking, passion, and excellence in crafting a job-winning cover letter. The funds can be used toward tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
To be eligible for the Cover Letter Mastery Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student enrolled in an accredited institution.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Open to students from all majors.
- Students outside the US are encouraged to apply as well, as long as they can meet the same eligibility requirements (or country equivalents). Note: All application materials must be submitted in English.
How to Apply:
To apply for the Cover Letter Mastery Scholarship, you will need to complete an online application form here. For context, you’ll need to provide a real job listing (copy/paste is fine). Ideally, this job listing should represent your dream job and will serve as the inspiration for your cover letter. You’re welcome to include your resume as well, but only the cover letter will be used to judge a winner.
You will also need to provide the following:
- A copy of a current transcript
- A letter of recommendation
- Proof of enrollment/acceptance
Scanned copies are fine, as long as the necessary information is easily seen.
Application deadline: April 15th, 2025
All applicants will receive an email notification of the results, with the winner announced on May 5th, 2025.
