The AROEVE Starry model MK09W air purifier in Space Grey is great for a bedroom, living room, media room, apartment or condo. The unit itself is kind of big, 20 inches tall by 12 inches in diameter. So if you’re going to have it taking up space in your room, why not have it do more than just sit there! The starry sky is an awesome effect, especially with the aurora borealis, and it looks spectacular at night! It’s not cheesy or childish, either, you can change colors or keep it realistic like being in a planetarium. Kids and adults who like space will love it, I know I do! The star projector and air purification functions can be used independently or at the same time. Some people may not care about the starry night effect, but if you love astronomy you will enjoy it. I already highly recommend it even though we haven’t gotten around to using the smartphone app or voice commands!
The AROEVE air purifier is super quiet so you don’t even notice when it’s on. They say it filters up to 1782 sq ft, which seems like a lot, but it certainly excels at cleaning the air in the 500 sq ft condo that we recently bought. Every time we walked in, it had a stale smell that reminded us of an old Motel 6. After setting up this air purifier, the air smells so fresh and clean, I can’t believe what a difference it’s made! The 360° circular intake design ensures comprehensive air purification. It uses a HEPA filter and it also has a UV function. A door on the back of the unit opens up where you can access the cylindrical replaceable filter (sold on Amazon here) and the washable reusable filter cover. There’s even a slot for adding essential oils for aromatherapy! This will be great for creating holiday ambiance or helping to alleviate cold symptoms.
The AROEVE air purifier plugs into a regular wall outlet, so no need for USB charging. The interface on the front of the machine is simple to use. It lets you put it on auto mode or energy-saving eco mode, adjust the air flow from high to low, set times, lighting features, etc. It has a color readout that gives real-time feedback on the quality of your air (blue is good). It has numbers that indicate when the HEPA filter needs to be replaced (when it goes below 50%). It has a digital readout that shows how many particulates are in the air on the PM2.5 scale (0-12 = good, 12.5-35.4 = moderate, and anything above that gets more and more unhealthy). Ours usually reads 4, except for one day we were getting wildfire smoke and it went up to 5. I LOVE THIS AIR PURIFIER! Click here to see the Amazon product page.
