“I’m Moanna — a teenage girl with a lot to say and a lot more to learn.”
Moanna Adams is a homeschooler, content creator, model, and former Miss Sugar Hill Teen USA. She comes from a blended family, having grown up as the oldest sibling with three entrepreneurial parents. In January of 2022, her family sold almost everything and jumped into their Class-A motorhome to venture across 48 states in 48 weeks.
Moanna started a podcast at age fifteen while on the cross-country trip with her family. The travel teen documented her journey across the country with her dad, stepmom, younger brother, toddler sister, and dog. In her podcasts, she covered everything from morning routines to life on the road.
While doing her podcast, Moanna became deeply invested in content creation, social media algorithms, and growth strategies. She said, “I took the time to learn from some of the best RV content creators in the industry, and I have developed a strong understanding of the social media world.” She even helped other teens start their own podcasts.
Based on her experience, Moanna works as a Social Media Advisor. “I work to educate business owners on how they can use their platforms to grow their businesses. I help set up their accounts for success and develop a social media strategy. I am excited to share how my knowledge can help grow your brand and influence your community.”

Miss Sugar Hill Teen
Moanna’s goal last year was to venture out of her comfort zone. She entered a pageant and won! As Miss Sugar Hill Teen USA, Moanna was able to serve and represent her city. She said, “I have absolutely loved getting to be your Miss Sugar Hill Teen USA! Thank you for all the incredible support this year. I’m so grateful for this city and the amazing people who work tirelessly to make Sugar Hill the great city that it is. To the sweetest city in Georgia, I love you!”
According to the pageant website, “The Purpose of Miss Sugar Hill Winter Pageant is to help build Self Esteem and Confidence in young girls and teens. Motivating and teaching young girls & teens to strive to be the best person that they can be, while helping them to reach for their dreams. The Title winners will become a role model for young girls and teens in their community by attending speaking engagements and events.”
That description certainly suits Moanna Adams! She is a teen on a mission to inspire her peers to embrace personal growth, mental health, and self-love through her podcast, “Making Waves with Moanna Adams” – the ultimate podcast for teenage girls seeking inspiration, advice, and a positive space to grow!
Making Waves
Moanna’s podcast is aimed at teenage girls with big dreams and even bigger questions. Each episode is a wave of motivation, honest conversations, expert insights, and actionable tips to help teen girls reach confidence. “Making Waves with Moanna Adams” now has over sixty episodes.
Moanna has another vlog series where she shares “A Day in My Life” as a teen model. From behind-the-scenes moments at photo shoots to travel days, everyday routines, and personal milestones — it’s all here, including her Junior Year Homeschool Vlog. However, that’s actually old news as she just graduated in June 2025!
Lastly, Moanna likes to share her favorite mental-health related tips. She says:
“Learn to love your own company and thrive when you are alone. People will come in and out of your life, but you have yourself forever. When you are confident being on your own and can be alone without feeling lonely, you have the freedom to let go of relationships that aren’t serving you and focus on the ones that make you a better version of yourself.”
That’s great advice! Thanks, Moanna!
“Making Waves with Moanna Adams” is now streaming on Apple and Spotify.
